KE KELIT is awarded an eco-label by the Ministry

Energy-efficient production protects the environment and resources - and this careful treatment of our planet is an essential part of the KE KELIT corporate culture. The consideration of future generations and their needs is always taken into account in all processes. KE KELIT therefore strives to develop products that protect the environment and conserve resources. This pays off not only for our customers and partners, but also for society as a whole.

The Austrian Ecolabel is awarded by the Ministry of the Environment and is one of the most important awards for sustainable Austrian quality products. KE KELIT produces innovative, durable and therefore sustainable quality pipe systems for Austria and the whole world.

KE KELIT is committed to respecting future generations and their needs. In order to receive the eco-label, a waste management concept and an environmental management concept must be successfully implemented. This is given by the audit results of the ÖNORM ISO 14001.

Supporting the environment

KE KELIT supports the successful role model ÖAKR
A responsible attitude to the environment and its resources plays a central role in Ke Kelit´s company culture. Respecting the interests of future generations and their needs is a matter of course for us. KE KELIT is also a member of the ÖAKR (Austrian committee for recycling plastic pipes).
The ÖAKR, established in 1991, has 80 collection points in Austria where used pipes and fittings and any pipe materials left over from installation can be deposited and utilised in an environment-friendly manner. The amount of materials collected every year is way in excess of 1,000 tonnes. Since its beginning the committee has saved more than 20,000 tonnes of CO2 and approximately 900,000 GJ of energy. This makes the ÖAKR a role model for Europe. KE KELIT is proud of its success and the social responsibility shown towards the environment.
