The Kurhaus Bad Ischl, meanwhile also hotel or congress and theater house was built between 1873 and 1875 by the architect Hyazinth Michael. Formerly a spa hotel, today the congress & theater house hosts balls, cultural events and various performances of the renowned Lehar Festival.
