At the end of June 2012, the construction of the ÖBB headquarters began on the southern forecourt of Vienna's main railway station. It was designed by the Viennese architects Zechner & Zechner. The building consists of a 5-storey pedestal area with a high-rise building, which divides into two parts with different height.
